Get StartedShall a one percent sales and use tax for educational purposes of the Clayton County School District be reimposed within Clayton County, upon the termination of the one percent sales and use tax for educational purposes presently in effect, for the maximum period of time of 20 calendar quarters, for the purpose of providing funds to pay the costs of: (1) constructing and equipping one new STEM Kindergarten - fifth grade Elementary School; (2) constructing and equipping one new ninth - twelfth grade College and Career Academy; (3) constructing and equipping one new STEM ninth - twelfth grade High School; (4) constructing and equipping one new STEM sixth - eighth grade Middle School; (5) purchasing new school buses and providing upgrades to existing school buses; (6) replacing and acquiring new service vehicles; (7) acquiring property to construct and equip new schools; (8) acquiring and refreshing system-wide technology improvements and equipment; (9) acquiring personal devices and books for student instruction; (10) renovating, replacing, repairing, improving, and equipping existing school building, stadiums, administrative building, maintenance buildings, and other School District facilities; and (11) acquiring and necessary property for the foregoing purposes, both real and personal, all at a maximum cost of $280,250,000 and all for educational purposes?
