Get StartedThis measure would approve an Urban Growth Boundary (UGB) land exchange pursuant to 2025 HB 2647. Approximately 90 net acres of land located south of the Falls City Highway would be removed from the UGB, and approximately 75 net acres of land, located at 6685 of Talmadge Road and 10700 Block of Mistletoe Road, would be added to the UGB, subject to approval by Polk County and the Oregon DLCD. Properties removed from the UGB shall keep their existing zoning of Polk County Suburban Residential. Properties added to the UGB shall be designated Low Density Residential and Medium Density Residential under the City's Comprehensive Plan. Until those properties are annexed into the City of Monmouth, they shall be designated Polk County Exclusive Farm Use, implementing an Urban Reserve Polk County comprehensive plan designation.
