Proposition 453 - Amending Article IX, Section 9.13 of Holbrook City Charter relating to the timing of the canvass of an election.

The charter amendment replaces the seven-day window to canvass an election with a six to twenty day timeframe for the City to canvass an election conforming with A.R.S. § 16-642 and specifies day-to-day postponements pursuant to the exceptions outlined in state law. A "yes" vote shall have the effect of providing the City with up to twenty days to canvass an election and provide for additional extensions in accordance with state law A "no" vote shall have the effect of retaining the existing seven-day period for the City to canvass.
