Proposition A - Ambulance District Property Tax Relief

Shall the Chariton County Ambulance District annually reduce the total property tax levy on property within the District by imposing a sales tax of one percent for the purpose of providing revenues for the operation of the Chariton County Ambulance District, with such property tax reduction to be determined annually in an amount equal to fifty percent of the previous year's revenue collected from the sales tax, and further be authorized to impose a local use tax at the same rate as said local sales tax to be imposed by the Board under Section 321.552 RSMo, provided that if the local sales tax rate is reduced or raised by voter approval, the local use tax rate shall also be reduced or raised by the same action?
