Proposition EMS - Bond Election

Shall the Lincoln County Ambulance District issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of twenty million dollars for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, furnishing, equipping, and maintaining District facilities, including acquiring any necessary land to reduce response times to emergency medical calls and for future District facilities; acquiring and equipping ambulances and other vehicles; and acquiring and installing medical, communication and other life-saving service apparatus and auxiliary equipment, all to meet current safety standards, improve emergency services and carry out the objectives and purposes of the District? The authorization of the bonds will authorize the District to levy and collect an annual tax in addition to the other taxes provided for by law on all taxable tangible property in the District sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds as they fall due and to retire the same within twenty years from the date thereof.
