Proposition F - General Obligation Bonds

Shall the Elsberry Fire Protection District issue its general obligation bonds in the amount of $2,500,000 for the purpose of acquiring, constructing, improving, furnishing, equipping, and maintaining District facilities, including acquiring any necessary land for future District facilities, purchasing emergency medical equipment, emergency rescue, fire protection and fire-fighting apparatus and auxiliary equipment and vehicles and refinancing existing lease financings of the District, all to meet current safety standards, improve emergency services and carry out the objectives and purposes of the District? The authorization of the bonds will authorize the District to levy and collect an annual tax in addition to the other taxes provided for by law on all taxable tangible property in the District sufficient to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds as they fall due and to retire the same within twenty years from the date thereof.
