Proposition H - Operating Tax Levy

Shall the Board of Education of Reorganized School District R-3 of Jefferson County, Missouri, be authorized to increase the operating tax levy ceiling of the District by $1.39 per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation beginning with the 2027 assessment for general operating purposes, constructing, improving, renovating, furnishing, equipping and operating facilities of the District, including construction of a secured entrance at the high school, installation of security cameras and secured doors throughout the District, playground safety, security, and ADA upgrades, construction and improvement of road, parking, and traffic infrastructure to improve student drop-off and pickup operations and reduce traffic congestion, improvements to athletic and fine arts facilities districtwide, construction of new high school fine arts classrooms that also serve as a storm shelter, and construction of a career and technical education facility at Bridle Ridge that also may serve as a community storm shelter? If this proposition is approved, the adjusted operating levy of the school district is estimated to be $4.7338 (based on 2025 tax rates) per one hundred dollars of assessed valuation.
