Proposition No. 1 - Replacement Capital Levy for Safety, Security, Infrastructure, and Technology Improvements

The Board of Directors of East Valley School District No. 361 adopted Resolution No. 2848, concerning a capital levy for safety, security, infrastructure and technology improvements. This proposition would authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes, replacing an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District, for District-wide safety, security, infrastructure and technology improvements (including making safety, security, communication, parking and traffic improvements; replacing plumbing, HVAC, roofs and electrical systems; and improving educational technology, cybersecurity and online safety): Collection Year: 2027 Estimated Levy Rate/ $1,000 Assessed Value: $0.99 Levy Amount: $6,793,300 Collection Year: 2028 Estimated Levy Rate/ $1,000 Assessed Value: $0.199 Levy Amount: $6,996,996 all as provided in Resolution No. 2848.
