Proposition No. 1 - CAPITAL LEVY FOR SAFETY, TECHNOLOGY AND FACILITY IMPROVEMENTS

The Board of Directors of South Kitsap School District No. 402 adopted Resolution No. 1397, concerning a proposition to fund safety, technology and facility improvements. This proposition would authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes on all taxable property within the District to fund Districtwide school improvements, including upgrading security cameras, access controls, emergency communication systems, educational technology, internet access/cybersecurity, parking, school accessibility, theatre, athletic facilities for student/community use, and other educational facilities: Collection Year: 2027 Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $1.50 Levy Amount: $23,488,622 Collection Year: 2028 Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $1.50 Levy Amount: $24,192,839 Collection Year: 2028 Approximate Levy Rate/$1,000 Assessed Value: $1.50 Levy Amount: $24,918,539 all as provided in Resolution No. 1397.
