Proposition No. 1 - Replacement Educational Programs and Operation Levy

The Board of Directors of Cheney School District No. 360 adopted Resolution No. 27-25-26, concerning a replacement levy for education. This proposition would authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes, replacing an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District, for support of educational programs and operation expenses not funded by the State (including school safety, athletics, extracurricular activities, art, music, special education and staffing above the State allocation): Collection Year: 2028 Estimated Levy Rate/ $1,000 Assessed Value: $2.10 Levy Amount: $18,450,000 Collection Year: 2029 Estimated Levy Rate/ $1,000 Assessed Value: $2.10 Levy Amount: $19,000,000 Collection Year: 2030 Estimated Levy Rate/ $1,000 Assessed Value: $2.10 Levy Amount: $19,550,000 all as provided in Resolution No. 27-25-26.
