Proposition No. 2 - Replacement Capital Levy for Technology, Security and Infrastructure Improvements

The Board of Directors of Cheney School District No. 360 adopted Resolution No. 28-25-26, concerning a replacement levy for capital improvements. This proposition would authorize the District to levy the following excess taxes, in place of an expiring levy, on all taxable property within the District, to make technology, security and infrastructure improvements (including acquiring and installing instructional technology equipment, security cameras and entry controls; and upgrading other infrastructure for safety): Collection Year: 2028 Estimated Levy Rate/ $1,000 Assessed Value: $0.10 Levy Amount: $880,000 Collection Year: 2029 Estimated Levy Rate/ $1,000 Assessed Value: $0.15 Levy Amount: $1,350,000 Collection Year: 2030 Estimated Levy Rate/ $1,000 Assessed Value: $0.20 Levy Amount: $1,900,000 all as provided in Resolution No. 28-25-26.
