Get StartedAdoption of a 1% local sales and use tax within Drew County for a period of six (6) years, the net collections of which remaining after deduction of the administrative charges of the State of Arkansas and required rebates (the "Net Collections"), will be distributed only to the County and used as follows: 75% of the Net Collections to finance the construction, reconstruction, restoration, improvement, alteration and repair of County roads, and 25% of the Net Collections to finance general operations of the County and other purposes of County government. The County's 1% sales and use tax levied by Ordinance No. 2019-16 is scheduled to expire on June 30, 2026, and, if approved by the voters, the County intends that the new 1% sales and use tax will become effective on July 1, 2026.
