Question 1 - Proposed Tax Levy (Renewal and Increase)

A renewal of 2.85 mills and an increase of 0.5 mill for each $1 of taxable value to constitute a tax for the benefit of Franklin County for the purpose of the operation of mental health, alcohol, and drug addiction programs for children, adults, and families, including crisis, residential, and outpatient treatment programs, school and community based prevention programs, supportive housing, and recovery supports that the county auditor estimates will collect $115,709,160 annually, at a rate not exceeding 3.35 mills for each $1 of taxable value, which amounts to $74 for each $100,000 of the county auditor's appraised value, for 10 years, commencing in 2026, first due in calendar year 2027.
