Question 1 - Operating Tax Levy

Shall the Board of Education of Morgan County R-I School District be authorized to increase the operating tax levy ceiling to $3.4846 per $100 of assessed valuation for the purpose of providing funds to construct, renovate, improve, furnish and equip school buildings and facilities, including constructing an athletic complex, such increase to terminate automatically after 20 years after the imposition thereof? If this question is approved, the operating tax levy of the District is estimated to increase by $0.19 per $100 of assessed valuation for the years 2027 through 2046, and estimated to be reduced by $0.19 per $100 of assessed valuation in the year 2047 and thereafter.
