Question 10 - Operating Millage Increase to Offset the Headlee Rollback

Shall the authorized allocated millage for Hagar Township general operating purposes, pursuant to the Michigan Property Tax Limitation Act, Public Act 62 of 1933, MCL 211.211(4), established at 1.0 mill (1.00 per $1,000 of taxable value), reduced to 0.6121 mills ($0.6121 per $1,000 of taxable value) by the required millage rollbacks, be increased by up to 0.3879 mills ($0.3879 per $1,000 of taxable value) to the original authorized allocated millage rate of 1.0 mills, to recover that millage reduction, which said 0.3879 mills increase will raise an estimated $99,935 in the first year the millage is levied.
