The previous millage rate was one (1.0) mills (61.00 per $1,000 of taxable value). If the proposition is approved, the new millage rate will be one and one-quarter (1.25) mills. If it is denied, it will be zero. If approved, it is estimated that the revenue generated by this proposal in the first year the millage is levied would be $54,929.52.
