TEMPORARY EXCESS LEVY ELECTION - Temporary Excess Levy

Shall the Board of County Commissioners of Shoshone County, Idaho (the "County") be authorized and empowered to levy a temporary two-year excess levy in the amount of $1,000,000 per year, for two years, in excess of the base budget from property tax revenues under Section 63-802, Idaho Code, said excess levy to begin in the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2026 and end September 30, 2028, to provide for public safety and law enforcement needs of the County? The estimated average annual cost to the taxpayer on the proposed levy is a tax of $41.61 per $100,000 of taxable assessed value, per year, based on current conditions.
