Animals are being left on the side of the road, livestock is not being cared for properly, not to mention the increasing issue of feral packs of dogs. I plan on having a dedicated investigator for these cases. Currently, the person responsible for these investigations is also responsible for responding to loose livestock calls; therefore, is not left with adequate time for proper investigations. Learn more
As Sheriff I vow to put our community first. I will be accessible and will have an open-door policy. Community forums will be held quarterly to foster open communication and transparency. I will strengthen community trust by establishing Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office Citizens Academy to highlight the importance of community policing. Learn more
I will lead by example and you will see me in uniform. I will focus on recruiting and retaining staff by fostering a culture of value and respect within the Sheriff’s Office. Staff will take part in training based off community needs such as customer service, proper investigations of crimes and pursuit training.
