Minnesota has great laws, we just need to enforce the laws we already have in the books and we can keep our streets safe. Our government had dropped the ball and failed to protect the people they have promised to protect. We need strong people in our government who will protect the people and keep law and order in place so we would feel safe to let our kids play on the streets again. Learn more

Defense / Veterans

The government that sent them to warzones should be responsible to help our brave veterans, we can increase the PTSD awareness/treatments, encouraging our veterans to seek medical help and put them into programs to re-integrate back into our society. They served us, now let's serve them. Learn more

I will push for policies that will incentivize companies to hire more veterans and when all qualifications are considered, veterans should be given preference for the jobs they are qualified for. Learn more

Economy

Vote with your dollars as I always say. Each and every time when we have a choice we should always buy things that are labeled “Made in the USA”. When we buy things made in the USA, we keep the jobs here; we keep the money circulating in our economy and can help to prevent money going to countries that are our potential adversaries. Many companies or labor camps make our stuff in China are state run organizations. Not only do they abuse human rights at their factories, treating their workers with horrible working conditions and paying them at wages lower than you can imagine. Some labors camps in China pay their workers at 0 per hour. And their government will not hesitate to use the money you give them to make weapons targeting Americans and the Free World. Learn more

Every year we have thousands if not tens of thousands of Minnesotans flying down to Florida, Texas, California, South Carolina, or Louisiana in the winter getting away from our reasonably cold months, We call them snowbirds, and they bring millions of dollars to the southern states. My counter argument would be, why couldn't we make Minnesota a summer vacation destination for the southerners trying to escape the extreme heat? We have great weather, big lakes and lots of fun water activities that can attract southerners to come here for a heat getaway. This will help Minnesota to attract a lot of business opportunities and investment. Learn more

When we encourage and incentivize companies to build their factories here in Minnesota, they will create many jobs across all fields and functions. We should have policies to encourage companies to hire American citizens first before they hire foreign workers. For any positions a company looks to hire, they should always hire well qualified American workers first before considering sponsoring visas to foreigners. We should only hire foreign workers if they have skillsets that are among the best in the world and we can’t find such talents here in Minnesota. We should not encourage American companies to hire foreign workers in areas where we have sufficient American talents in, for example accounting or business analysts. Learn more

Education

Each year our state government spends anywhere from 15,000 to 20,000 per student in the public school system. We all know that the government is not the most efficient organization on spending money and delivering results. I would support School Choice and School Vouchers. For each student parents decide to take out of the Public School system I would want the state to send the parents a voucher of 15,000 per student or 65,000 per household, whichever one is lower. Then the parents can decide on how to best use that money in their children’s education. Learn more

In order to raise a strong, independent and hardworking next generation of human beings, the parents are primarily responsible for raising their kids. Parents should have the right on deciding how to educate their children, not the government. Having lived in China, I know how government run schools can brainwash the next generation into believing extreme ideologies. I trust the judgments of parents who want to raise their children in their own way, and I believe they will make better choices for their children's education than some government bureaucrats. Minnesota is known for having great schools in the past, but recently that reputation has been diminished. We continue to put more money into our public school system, but our students’ performances don’t seem to represent the investment we put in. Therefore, it is not a money issue, it is a system issue. I know in countries like Japan, Korea, Taiwan or Singapore less money is spent on public schools than here in the US and yet their students outperform American students by a long shot. Maybe it’s because they don’t spend so much effort indoctrinating their kids to hate their own country. Learn more

Guns

Yes, we need to take the illegal guns off our streets. Often it’s the illegal guns were used to commit crimes; the law abiding gun owners were almost never the issues when it comes to gun related crimes. As a matter of fact, legal gun owners can help to keep us safe and protect us from mass shooters. Learn more

Healthcare

We don’t have a healthcare system; we have a Sick-Care system. It’s always when we get sick we go see our doctors and hopefully everything will turn out fine, but we rarely have a program that will incentivize the population to stay healthy. America has perhaps the highest obesity rate in the world, should we ask why that’s the case? Should we consider programs to incentivize people to live healthier lives, stay more active and maybe suggest insurance companies to offer reduced rates for customers making health conscience decisions in their lives? By doing that I believe the cost of healthcare will come down and it will reduce the spending on Medicare and Medicate. Learn more

Infrastructure / Transportation

Have you ever waited for the light rail in Minnesota's winter when it was -15F? Those heating lamps were basically useless. Why can't we have some kind of doors or drapes to block the wind for the waiting rooms? I guess the policy makers in St Paul never had to wait for the Light Rails on a cold winter day. They should be reminded that it's the people they should be serving, not their special interest groups. Learn more

Minnesota used to have reflective lanes on our highways, helped drivers to see the roads better at night and/or in rainy weathers. We no longer have that now. Every time when it was raining, I couldn't see a thing when I was driving. I always felt that's a hazardous road condition. Learn more

Taxes / Budget

Sadly Minnesota has become the land of 10,000 frauds as some people might say. Outside of the Feeding our Future and the Learing Center we also see the fraud in the billions of dollars in healthcare, this is unacceptable. Minnesota is a generous state toward those who are needy, but it makes me furious that those fraudsters using our kindness to defraud our tax dollars for their personal greed. As your next State Representative, I will put a stop to the fraud in Minnesota on all levels. I will try to put in mechanisms to filter out all fraudsters trying to rig our system and protecting the vulnerable who need our help. Learn more

When people pay more income taxes they have less to spend on what they need in their daily lives and/or spend less in the Minnesota economy. When the State government takes less from hard working Americans, we will likely to put that money into the circulation of our State’s economy and energizing our business sector. Learn more

As your next representative, I will push to enforce all measures to validate the information from all applicants that the information they put in are real and everything they claim can be confirmed to be true. Minnesota has been robbed by fraudsters in recent years, and some fraud scandals can go back 20 years. I feel disgusted that our hard earned tax dollars are stolen by fraudsters buying themselves huge houses, Lamborghinis and sending billions overseas. I am even more frustrated that our state government had turned a blind eye to these fraud and didn't do anything to protect our tax dollars. Learn more

The solution should be we attract these global companies to our shores, offering them incentives to keep jobs in Minnesota, leveraging their global earnings to energize the economy here at home. In my vision, We The People must have checks and balances on the government for how they spend our tax money. We can keep track on every single dollar we spend from our own bank account right? It’s also our money in the Department of Revenue, why there isn’t a public accessed website to show us the details on how the state is spending our money?
