I stood with our school district in a landmark lawsuit, led the fight for voucher transparency, and introduced legislation to fully fund our public schools while reducing pressure on local property taxpayers. Data centers are a serious and emerging issue for communities across Wisconsin. They affect utility rates, local infrastructure, and our natural resources. This is not about being against technology. It’s about making sure growth benefits our communities, not happens at their expense. I co-authored AB 722 to protect ratepayers from higher utility bills, require prevailing wages for data center workers, mandate renewable energy standards, and ensure water usage transparency. I voted against the Republicans’ rushed AB 840, which failed to include these protections. I will keep fighting to ensure that any large-scale data center development in Green Bay and Brown County comes with real accountability to the people who live here. Learn more

The Workforce Home Loan Program created zero-interest and low-interest home loan options to help working families with down payments, closing costs, and the chance to buy their first home.
