Homeownership is almost impossible for a family making 100K a year. Inflation is out of control, especially in the housing market. We must ban corporations from owning single family homes, end insurance company extortion and cut property taxes for middle class families. Learn more
The federal budget must be balanced. We spend 14% of our budget paying interest alone. Congress has to stop the massive tax handouts to their political donors, billionaires and elite families who live off of generational wealth. A teacher or law enforcement officer, or small business owner shouldn’t pay a higher tax rate than a billionaire trust fund “baby”...but that’s exactly what happens. Billionaires must pay their fair share. Americans like you and me can only spend what we earn from our paychecks. We do not have access to limitless lines of credit against unrealized gains (aka assets that are not taxed). Billionaires are able to borrow against the value of their assets and never pay tax on this income. This is how they afford their second and third yachts while the rest of us pinch pennies for groceries. We must close the tax loopholes that allow billionaires to sidestep paying their fair share. Washington politicians are bought and paid for by billionaires donating hundreds of billions of dollars to their campaigns. In return, our politicians give them tax giveaways and massive government contracts. Deciding whether to protect our veterans, social security, medicare, and medicaid shouldn’t be up for discussion. Thousands of Americans here in North Florida have worked their entire lives, served their country or are still working 50 or 60 hours a week to make ends meet.
