Healthcare used to be private, businesses operated by doctors. Then commercial businesses, to attract the top talent, offered health insurance to their employees. The outgrowth of that is that today people feel unprotected if they don’t have a health insurance plan of some kind. If we went back to private health businesses, the problem would diminish and the government would save a lot of money. Learn more
California is way out of line regarding immigration into the United States. It is the federal government’s responsibility to deal with immigration, not the states. We taxpayers are paying federal agents to enforce immigration law. The least we can do is cooperate with them rather than threaten them. Learn more
