We hear that California is one of the largest economies in the world. But if that were truly working, people wouldn’t be leaving, struggling, or choosing between rent, insurance, and food. Growth has to benefit the people who live here not just a few powerful interests. I will hold those interests accountable -Silicon Valley through my 7 point plan- and make sure innovation works for everyone, not just the top. Costs are too high, and too many families, including immigrant and working communities, are being priced out of basic care. I believe in Universal Health care with Private Insurance add on by option.
