The levy system for funding education perpetuates inequities in our school. The entire system needs to be replaced with something more equitable, and then we need to fully fund that system to significantly reduce, if not eliminate, educational levies in our state. – Show Less. Learn more

I propose that we increase (small) this tax on any business that buys a residential property and that we drastically increase (very large) this tax on any business from out of state that buys a residential property. A portion of this increased tax revenue can be used to further bolster the usage of REET 2 to address affordable housing shortages. Learn more
