Studies prove the phonics-based Science of Reading is the most effective approach to teaching kids how to read. We will ensure every Michigan elementary school has a literacy coach trained in the Science of Reading on site to assist teachers with this critical strategy, and that our universities incorporate it as part of their elementary education curriculum. Repeal the “Green New Deal.” It’s already hard enough to pass the family farm on to the next generation. Now, radical environmentalists want to turn them into solar farms and raise everyone’s energy costs in the process. Encourage new housing in previously developed urban areas instead of using government to pressure rural communities into razing farms and forests.
