Get StartedI will fight to enshrine abortion rights into the state’s constitution. I will also fight to protect people who access reproductive healthcare from extradition by the federal government. Learn more
I am a firm believer in second chances, and I totally support legislation that restores the right to vote of those persons who have served their time as sentenced. Learn more
I will support all policies that are proven to reduce recidivism and break the cycle of criminality. This includes providing educational opportunities and vocational trainings in our corrections system. Learn more
Our General Assembly must strengthen Virginia’s anti-discrimination laws to protect all Virginians’ right to work, live, and speak freely without fear of reprisal by the federal government. Learn more
Arlington County Fire Department and Arlington County Police Department are both reporting staffing shortages that are hindering their ability to keep our county safe. I promise to help end this shortage by whatever means available at the Commonwealth level. Learn more
I also promise to introduce legislation that grants the full right of our distilleries, wineries, and breweries to directly sell and ship alcohol to anyone of age in Virginia. Learn more
With AI poised to become the defining technology of this generation, I propose our Commonwealth take this one step further and create incentives for venture capital firms and technology startups to plant their flag here. Learn more
I will fight to protect the educational independence of our schools, from primary schools to universities. We will ensure that any loss of federal funding resulting from non-compliance will immediately be supplemented by Commonwealth funds. Learn more
I propose the establishment of a well-regulated retail electricity generation market to drive down costs for consumers even as demand grows and incentivize the production of cheap, plentiful clean energy. Learn more
As delegate, I will also work to secure investments in clean energy, medical research, rural broadband, and transportation infrastructure, creating new opportunities that will put the valuable skills of our federal employees to work. Learn more
Our General Assembly must reinforce and expand Virginians’ right to vote, unimpeded by unconstitutional federal mandates. Learn more
I will support legislation that invests in crisis intervention systems, as well as funds mental health courts, drug courts, and veterans courts. I also support increasing criminal penalties on straw purchases of firearms and firearms trafficking. Learn more
By providing a financial backstop for catastrophic expenses, our Commonwealth can reduce premiums for standard health insurance plans since insurers would carry less risk for extreme costs. Additionally, the Commonwealth will reduce the burden on hospitals and care providers in cases of uncompensated care, when uninsured or underinsured patients require emergency medical treatment they cannot afford. Learn more
There should be a streamlined process to allow homeowners to build these as they are a key tool to help young Virginians get on their feet and allow our senior citizens to age in place. Learn more
Churches, Synagogues, Temples and other places of worship should be allowed to build affordable housing on their land. Learn more
While these residences are still critical to increasing the housing supply and necessary to accommodate our transient neighbors, we must focus efforts on the construction of homes that Virginians can buy. Home ownership invests citizens in their communities and is the cornerstone of the American dream. Learn more
Let’s ease the restrictions on building apartments and mixed-use buildings in commercial areas such as along the Ballston corridor. Learn more
We need to increase the supply of housing. Learn more
As delegate, I will fight to amend the Dillon Rule which precludes localities like Arlington County from passing ordinances that deal with local issues such as the environment, noise pollution, and even the structure of our County and City governments. Virginia must join the vast majority of US states that delegate certain powers to local governments by introducing home rule. Learn more
I support any policies that assist older jurisdictions that wish to migrate from outdated pen-and-paper procedures to a modern digital portal. Learn more
The landscape of today’s job market is different than it was 20 years ago and change seems to be accelerating every day: I will support any program that assists people in a career transition during these tumultuous times. Learn more
In response, our General Assembly must enact emergency unemployment relief to support our federal workers during this period and expedite claims processing so we can support Virginia families sooner. Learn more
