Our Penacook Branch Library is an important part of our community, and I have fully supported efforts to maintain it. The current location, although quaint and historic, would need work that could total close to a million dollars, and that would still leave it with space and accessibility limitations. A better value and end result will come from our partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central New Hampshire as they build a new Penacook Community Center which will have space for the branch library.
