The 159th is made up of many blue collar workers who are struggling to get by. Carol believes that the current state minimum wage is a poverty wage and wants to increase the minimum wage to 15 an hour. Cost of living has gone up, worker productivity has gone up, but our wages have remained stagnant. Carol believes all workers deserve a livable wage, including tipped workers. Learn more
