I will work to secure state funding for school districts to increase pay and other incentives to both retain and recruit good teachers for our classrooms. Learn more

Environment / Energy

I will advocate for increased funding and resources to directly support conservation and preservation efforts in our area. Learn more

Housing

I will ensure affordable housing remains both a priority and core component of any development plan proposed in District 116. Learn more

Infrastructure / Transportation

I will work with our city and county officials as a partner at the state-level to advocate for alternative transportation options such as bus routes and “Park and Ride” to reduce the amount of traffic on our roads. Learn more

I will work with our partners at all levels of government to ensure that we are maintaining constant assessment of our traffic and congestion issues while creating new strategies as an intergovernmental system (city, county, and state) to see those improvements come to fruition. Learn more

I will work to ensure adequate state funding and support for the completion of improvement projects, including completion of the I-526 extension, Main and 17 flyover, and other approved and proposed road projects that reduce traffic and congestion in District 116. Learn more

I will work to introduce and support state legislation that promote clean energy and conserve the environment around us. Learn more
