There has been a rapid emergence of unregulated online artificial intelligence (AI) chatbots that children interact with, too often with deadly consequences. Expand efforts to end the drug crisis. There has been a dramatic spike in overdose cases throughout our state, and more than 2,000 Kansans have died from fentanyl overdoses. As Attorney General, Chris will be laser-focused on public safety solutions that confront this crisis head-on, including targeting drug traffickers, supporting local and state law enforcement in getting dangerous drugs off our streets, ensuring all communities have Naloxone readily available, and strengthening prevention and treatment programs.
