Get StartedIf I win the seat, I will work very hard to protect women’s reproductive rights, and healthcare rights in general. All medical decisions should be made between the patient and the Doctor alone without government interference. Learn more
I will also work to make healthcare more affordable - to make it a right, not a privilege. I will also hold Big Pharma to account to curb the constantly rising cost of prescription drugs, reducing state drug expenditures and putting money back in the pockets of Mainers. Learn more
As a former member of the New Gloucester Public Library Board of Trustees, I have seen how hard our incredible librarians work to provide valued services to our community. Unfortunately, I have also seen how libraries are increasingly under pressure from budget cuts and calls for book bans. As your representative, I will fight to protect our right to intellectual freedom. This includes making sure our libraries are properly funded so they can continue serving as havens of learning and growth for those of all ages. Learn more
A 25 mile rail/trail has been proposed on the abandoned Berlin Subdivision corridor through Portland, Yarmouth, North Yarmouth, Pownal, New Gloucester and Auburn. The nearly 7 miles that would run through New Gloucester has been described as the most beautiful segment of the trail. The trail has been recommended by the Rail Use Advisory Committee but the Maine legislature still needs to authorize and fund the trail. This trail would be of huge economic, recreational, and public benefit to the towns of Gray and New Gloucester. This will likely come before the legislature in 2025 and if elected I will work to get it approved. Learn more
