My vision is to create an innovative and resilient educational system in Alabama that prepares all our students for the challenges of the future. I aim to work with my fellow board members and our state superintendent of education to cultivate an environment where every student has the resources and support needed to thrive. Through collaboration with educators, parents, community members and our legislature, we can drive meaningful change in our schools. Learn more

Our students’ education should not be dependent on their zip code. It is well past the time that every student should have access to the educational resources they need to excel at not just at the state or national level, but at the global level. I pledge to work hard to ensure that every student gets these resources. Learn more

As a board member, I will champion the importance of libraries in our communities and education system, advocating for policies that protect their funding and autonomy, as well as being a safe space for learning. Learn more
