Get StartedOur Public Safety departments are highly ranked in the state and nationally recognized. Fire and EMS, the Marshal’s Office and the Sheriff’s Office are all great assets to Cherokee County. The Board of Commissioners is responsible for funding these departments and providing them with what they need to run smoothly. Infrastructure needs are growing in Cherokee County. With our increased development and increasing population, our roads and other infrastructure are struggling to keep up. Learn more
My plan has been, and always will be, to attract developments that are a positive mixture of uses that benefit the county. Possibly the greatest land use issue in the county today is affordability. I am currently working on and will continue to purse ordinances and regulations that will improve affordability in Cherokee County. Learn more
In Cherokee County, we have one of the lowest tax burdens in the entire state of Georgia. This is due to our phenomenal executive team as well as the leadership of the Board of Commissioners.
