Get StartedA society is judged by how it treats its most vulnerable — I will defend equal rights and the essential services people depend on to live with dignity. At the heart of this platform is a simple belief: human dignity matters. Human rights include freedom of speech, language, belief, identity, who you love, women’s rights, and respect for people with physical or mental challenges. I believe all people are created equal. We must reduce the cost of insurance and utilities and attract businesses that pay living wages. That means reexamining corporate priorities so workers are compensated fairly, not just shareholders. Right now, our job market reflects a troubling gap, too many low wage jobs, some high paying jobs, and very little in between. We need intentional economic development that plans for the future. We should think boldly about what House District 33 can become, a place that attracts good paying jobs, young professionals, and families because we have the space, the water, and the vision to invest in quality of life. That could mean a new golf course, cultural centers, recreational opportunities, or community driven development that makes people want to build their lives here. Learn more

Dead last is not just embarrassing, it is damaging to our future. Competitive pay is essential if we want to retain quality educators and give our children the education they deserve. We also must hold alternative public education systems accountable, not based on dollars alone, but on outcomes that actually make sense for students and families. Learn more

Green urban planning is achievable. That means strategic development that supports walkable communities, responsible mass transit, and public spaces for recreation and reflection. It also means asking our city engineers and planners to think long term, not just project to project. We have an obligation to protect and cherish one of our greatest assets, the water that lines more than 70 miles of our shoreline. Responsible development must never lose sight of that responsibility. Learn more
