We must complete the I-57 project and strengthen our support for port access along the Mississippi River. A strong regional economy will strengthen our families, schools and quality of life. We must ensure greater access to mental health services, I believe mental health and or behavioral health is the next medical crisis facing our state. Providing mental health services in our schools will contribute to student well being leading to a safer and better learning environment for both students and teachers. Supporting our schools with mental / behavioral health professionals, school resource officers will allow our teachers to focus on teaching our children resulting in better outcomes for all.
