These cuts have targeted the largest returns to the most wealthy and have been paid for by cutting spending. This has shifted the burden of cost increasingly to property taxes and requiring local districts to do more with fewer state dollars to support the community. Every job is necessary and deserves to be treated with dignity. One of the ways workers can take a more active role in this is to organize and form a union, a right which should be protected. All jobs should be safe and no worker should be expected to incur injury as a standard part of the job. Each job should afford the worker the ability to maintain a standard of living and enjoy their life.
