Laws in New Mexico do not have enough teeth to keep these offenders behind bars. There is no accountability. Law Enforcement Officers across the State are being shot at and constantly in harm’s way. Their qualified immunity has been taken away which has caused Officers to leave the force and made it difficult to fill the ranks. This needs to change. Learn more
