Ohioans should not have their movements routinely tracked, photographed, and stored simply for driving on public roads. While technology can assist law enforcement, public safety should never come at the expense of privacy, due process, and protection from warrantless surveillance. As Governor, Don would work with the General Assembly to restrict or prohibit government use of automated license-plate surveillance systems, establish strong limits on the collection and sharing of vehicle-location data, and prevent state resources from funding mass-surveillance networks. Ohioans should be treated like free people not suspects whose daily movements belong in a government-accessible database. Learn more

We want to see no more corporate bribery. for so long there have been corporate contributions coming to politicians from regulated monopolies in utilities, healthcare, telecom, and insurance. We want total transparency in government contracts and budgets and to have that information identifiable and searchable in a public database. Learn more
We strongly oppose unaccountable federal enforcement agencies that illegally detain people without cause, are hidden behind masks, and operate without clear identification. We believe that due process applies to everyone and that immigration enforcement should be civil not militarized. Immigrants should have a straightforward and clear lawful path to citizenship and be required to show good faith progress toward legal status. Violations can be handled like any other criminal infraction. Learn more
We are in favor of the end property tax amendment. We prefer to see local consumption based funding. We can balance the budget and eliminate corporate welfare for the larger institutions saving a ton of money for Ohioans. Learn more
