It’s no surprise that everyone wants to live here (New Jersey is the greatest state in the country). But too many people who grew up here can’t afford to stay. The only solution is to build more housing and anything less is either wrong or a lie. However, it only makes sense to build where infrastructure exists to support it. Eugene will incentivize building only where it makes sense, like near public transit hubs. Eugene will oppose any unfunded state mandates to build where no infrastructure exists. Learn more
