After 21 years in the Navy, I know what veterans give up—and how often they return home to more barriers instead of support. I will oppose new taxes, work to roll back policies that drive up costs, and fight for practical support for veterans—including access to care and meaningful relief where it makes sense. I’ve spent years around students—as a Navy recruiter working in every high school in the Spokane Valley, and as a referee seeing what students are capable of when expectations are clear. The problem isn’t the kids—it’s a system that isn’t consistently focused on the basics that build success. I will work to restore strong academic standards, reinforce reading and math fundamentals, and ensure schools prepare students for real life—not just shifting benchmarks. Learn more
