I firmly believe that parents and guardians deserve access to affordable and free options for day-care. There are many parents who make difficult decisions to leave the job market simply because the family cannot afford childcare. I want families to have a meaningful choice in the matter. In my district, there is a childcare desert. We simply don’t have enough flexible options for families who work second shift. I believe we are long overdue to transform the whole industry to increase resources needed for the workforce and families. Learn more
