Southern Nevada faces critical challenges when it comes to water. Jan is committed to advancing smart and sustainable water conservation strategies that protect our environment while supporting growth and innovation. Being in the water treatment for more than 42 years, If elected will work with companies and industries in Nevada on water conservation. Cooling towers are used by almost all large casinos and hotels which use a tremendous amount of water for cooling. The new technologies need to be used to reduce water consumption! Being a cancer survivor, I know the importance of health care. When I first moved to Nevada I was told by numerous people if you get a serious health concern leave Nevada and seek it else where. Well I did find out that was the case and had to go back to Minnesota for my cancer treatments. The clinic in Nevada was so back logged and couldn't see me for months. So I left home for 3 months to get my successful treatments. If elected my main job is to get more qualified doctors and nurses in Nevada so no one like me has to go out of state. Learn more
