She will push for predictable, long-term funding that allows towns to plan responsibly. In the Assembly, Janine will work to improve transparency, lower ratepayer burden, and cap utility profits without limiting investment in infrastructure that makes our grid more resilient and reliable. Janine will strengthen legislation that holds polluters accountable, mandate timely cleanup of toxic sites, and increase funding for testing, monitoring, and infrastructure upgrades, while ensuring that NJDEP does its job to enforce our laws. Learn more
I will make sure that legislation passes that protects our shores, and protects our drinking water safety from “forever chemicals.” I will work to ensure that legacy polluted sites and contaminated aquifers are cleaned up, and that polluters-- not taxpayers-- pay. Learn more
Janine will push for more aggressive funding for climate-resilient infrastructure—focusing on back bay flooding mitigation, stormwater systems, shoreline protection, and bridge, tunnel and other transportation improvements. Learn more
