Get StartedI will defend your right to make your own decisions about your body and keep the government out of it. That said, I will also support policies that have been proven to reduce the number of abortions — good, affordable healthcare, access to contraceptives, and available and affordable childcare. Established law must take precedence over politics, every time. I do not support federal overreach with immigration enforcement and would fight to ensure that Vermonters’ constitutional rights are respected. Learn more
Keeping our community safe is not just an issue of policing. We need to make sure that everybody in Brandon has the resources they need to thrive. Learn more
The state government needs to take aggressive action to reduce these costs and invest in community-driven plans, emphasizing local control of expenses. Learn more
We need to be willing to make some hard decisions about education in our state. Outcomes don’t justify high costs. This is not just about funding, but about families having the time, energy, and resources to support learning. Learn more
I oppose closing local schools. There’s no data to suggest that will be effective at saving money or improving outcomes. I am open to the idea of decreasing the number of school districts in Vermont, to cut down on redundant administration. Learn more
I support practical, economically sensible ways to systematically reduce our dependence on fossil fuels, and I understand that nickel-and-diming consumers is not the best way to make that happen. Learn more
Vermont’s greatest resource is its wealth of natural beauty, and we should fight to protect it. I oppose the federal government’s attempt open our forests to destructive logging and other exploitation. Learn more
I firmly believe that single-payer health care is necessary to prevent the further greed-driven rise in medical costs, and would explore forming a multi-state healthcare compact so Vermont is not bearing the difficulty of going it alone. Learn more
I believe in the “front porch” model of immigration: a lock on the door and big welcome mat out front. We can have secure borders while still realizing that immigrants are important to this country’s past, present, and future, and make sure that they have a path to come here the right way. Learn more
ICE has gotten completely out of hand and cannot be allowed to continue terrorizing Vermont communities without due process or regard for the law. Learn more
All road users–regardless of whether they drive a truck, subcompact, gas-guzzler or EV, should be treated fairly in meeting this burden. At the same time, the state should make more local funds, such as Brandon’s successful 1% Local Option Tax, available to towns for their own paving projects. I would support an increase to 90% of LOT funds going to the towns where they’re raised. Learn more
