Get StartedI believe that the decision about when to have children is one women should be able to make with their partner, their doctor, and their God, as applicable. I know that access to abortion is sometimes a matter of life or death, and I believe we need to protect the right that women have to get the care they need and to develop policies that support women, children, and families. Right now we’re funding schools at 1989 levels, and that’s just not good enough for 2026. We are asking schools to do more — in terms of testing, social/emotional health, and safety, to name a few areas. Students and teachers need access to new technology. Expanded Medicaid, the Colorado Marketplace, and other assistance to patients are critical. However, that will not be enough if we don’t have the medical providers that we need. There’s especially a shortage of mental health care providers. I want to explore policies to train, attract, and retain more providers in Colorado, especially in our underserved communities. To expand access to affordable housing, we need more innovation in building, more efficiency in permitting, more public-private partnerships, and more flexibility in zoning. We need creative solutions that bring together state and local governments, builders, and residents — including property owners AND renters. I will continue the good work that the legislature has already done for renters’ rights, while also crafting policies that make home ownership accessible for more of our residents. Learn more
There is much to do when it comes to providing greater transportation access to the residents of our district, and that will be a priority for me in the legislature. Learn more
