I will insist upon a thorough review of this decision, by performing a statistically sound survey of students, parents and other stakeholders in the district, reviewing the suspension and law enforcement data since elimination of the SRO program to determine its impact since 2020, and holding an open community meeting to hear from those invested in the safety of our schools as we continue defining the District’s relationship with our local law enforcement.
