Get StartedI am a strong proponent of the performing and visual arts. Vermont is blessed with numerous artists across the state. Learn more
There must be continuous effort to combat racial bias and to increase transparency and accountability in policing. Law enforcement officers must use de-escalation strategies first and foremost before using force in every community-police interaction. Learn more
I support the creation of a legal market for Cannabis. Current Vermont law removes civil and criminal penalties for the possession of small amounts of marijuana. Learn more
I am opposed to costly state and federal mandates, especially those that impose standardized testing. Education should not be about teaching children to score well on a test. Our public schools need the flexibility to meet the academic needs and creative abilities of all our students. Learn more
I will continue to strongly support changes to Act 46 that will provide voters from the four towns represented in the supervisory union with viable options to move forward while meeting the needs of our students and our communities. Learn more
Support the deployment of small renewable energy projects. Learn more
Create an infrastructure and incentives to support electric vehicles. Learn more
Reduce Vermont's total greenhouse gas emissions. Learn more

Yield more of our electric power from renewable sources including wind, solar, hydro, and biomass. Learn more
Help farmers diversify by producing electricity from farm waste. Learn more

Improving Public Transit is a top priority for additional funding to reduce single occupancy vehicle travel. The 2020 Transportation Bill (H.942) includes funding for a grant program to increase more flexible “microtransit” bus routes as well as innovative Transportation Demand Management (TDM) activities. TDM promotes carpools, biking, and telecommuting to reduce the need for commuting and parking spaces. Learn more
Transportation is the largest contributor (45%) to Vermont’s greenhouse gas emissions. We need to replace more of our quaint gas-burning automobiles with electric vehicle (EVs). We must maintain our New Plug-In Electric Vehicle (EV) incentive program to provide incentives for plug-in car purchases. Vermont needs to continue to expand the infrastructure needed to support the increasing number of EVs on our roads. Learn more
Reduction in services is not be the only answer to reduce state expenditures, but our government must deliver services to Vermonters in an effective and cost efficient way. I believe this is an era of increasing efficiency in management and information dissemination. With a long-range plan for realizing efficiencies in government we will be able to do more with less.
