I will call for an increase in Foundation Aid. Special education will be another one of my priorities, and I will work hard to make sure EVERY student gets a fair and equitable education. Learn more
I will work to increase the school-based health centers, so that our young people will have access to good-quality care. There is a high need for programs that treat the number of childhood chronic diseases. For our senior citizens, I will work to institute programs that increase the level of medical literacy, so that our older generation will be able to better understand their medications, and how to take them. My goal will be to improve the delivery of health care to our rural areas by working with hospitals and clinics throughout the region. Learn more
