One of my top priorities has been protecting kids from the growing harms of social media and digital platforms. Too often, these platforms are designed in ways that prioritize engagement over well-being, exposing young people to addictive features, harmful content, and unnecessary risks. Learn more

I believe the best way to lower the cost of living and strengthen our economy is to trust individuals and businesses, not expand government. That means protecting property rights, supporting job creation, and investing in infrastructure that keeps our economy moving, while ensuring government remains a partner, not a barrier. Learn more

I am committed to ensuring teachers have the time, resources, and support they need to succeed. That includes investing in classroom supplies, supporting student teachers, and giving educators more time to focus on instruction. I also believe parents should play a central role in their children’s education. We need to continue strengthening transparency, expanding educational options, and ensuring families have a voice in decisions that impact their children. Strong schools aren’t built by bureaucracy, they’re built by great teachers, engaged parents, and a clear focus on student success. Learn more
A strong education system is essential to Utah’s future. I care deeply about making sure every student has the opportunity to succeed and that our schools are focused on delivering real results in the classroom. Learn more

Utah also needs a balanced and reliable energy strategy. I support an all-of-the-above approach that includes traditional, renewable, and emerging energy sources. We must ensure our energy policies are shaped by Utah’s needs, not driven by one-size-fits-all federal mandates, while maintaining affordability and grid reliability. That includes continuing to explore new technologies, including nuclear energy. Responsible land management is also essential. I support efforts to improve forest health, reduce wildfire risk, and ensure that decisions about our lands are made in a way that benefits Utah communities and future generations, including supporting our schools through trust land management. I believe we can protect Utah’s natural beauty while also supporting responsible development and a strong economy. These priorities are not in conflict, they are part of the same commitment to long-term stewardship. Good stewardship means protecting our resources today while ensuring future generations have the opportunity to thrive. Learn more
As Utah continues to grow, we have a responsibility to be good stewards of the natural resources that sustain our communities and economy. That means protecting what we have while planning responsibly for the future. Water is one of our most critical challenges. While recent years have helped improve conditions, we are still recovering from a prolonged drought and must prepare for long-term demand. I support investing in water infrastructure, expanding supply, and continuing to promote conservation through practical incentives and education. I also support ongoing efforts to stabilize and restore the Great Salt Lake, which is vital to our environment, air quality, and economy. Ensuring a reliable water future is essential to Utah’s continued growth and stability. Learn more

I am committed to building a transportation system that keeps up with our growth, reduces congestion, and gives families more time back in their day. Better infrastructure means shorter commutes, stronger communities, and a higher quality of life. Learn more
But roads alone are not enough. We also need better public transit options that people actually want to use. That means faster, safer, and more convenient systems that can compete with driving. I am working to expand transit options in our area, including advancing plans to extend the Red TRAX line to connect with FrontRunner on the south end of the valley. This kind of connectivity will be key to supporting long-term growth and improving daily commutes. I also support expanding active transportation options, including trails and pathways that give residents more ways to safely walk, bike, and connect within our communities. Learn more

I am committed to continuing to lower the cost of living by eliminating the sales tax on food, removing the tax on Social Security benefits, and keeping property taxes affordable. These are practical steps that will make a real difference for families trying to keep up with rising costs. Lower taxes, responsible spending, and a strong economy aren’t just goals, they’re how we improve affordability, protect opportunity, and strengthen families. Learn more
