That includes continuing to explore new technologies, including nuclear energy. Responsible land management is also essential. I support efforts to improve forest health, reduce wildfire risk, and ensure that decisions about our lands are made in a way that benefits Utah communities and future generations, including supporting our schools through trust land management. But roads alone are not enough. We also need better public transit options that people actually want to use. That means faster, safer, and more convenient systems that can compete with driving. I am working to expand transit options in our area, including advancing plans to extend the Red TRAX line to connect with FrontRunner on the south end of the valley. This kind of connectivity will be key to supporting long-term growth and improving daily commutes.
