I will continue to support policy that increases school choice, strengthens the parent’s voice, incentivizes, and supports good teachers to come here and stay. There is so much opportunity to grow and develop Alaska, but we must have the human resources to move confidently into the future. That starts with education. Alaska must change the way it provides education to our children by getting back to the basics and ensuring students have the tools they need to become successful adults, skilled workers, and responsible citizens. Environment / Energy

Let’s make it easier for Alaskans to work, raise a family, and build a future here. A strong resource industry can provide good-paying jobs, strengthen our economy, and help create the infrastructure our communities need. To make Anchorage and Alaska more attractive to new residents while improving quality of life for those already here, we need well-maintained roads and bridges, safer pedestrian facilities, more housing, and a business climate that encourages growth. I support responsible resource development, policies that help Alaska businesses grow, and efforts to lower the cost of living for working families. That includes fighting to lower energy costs and supporting the LNG pipeline as an important step toward more affordable, reliable energy for Alaskans. Learn more

Taxes / Budget

Alaska must learn to live within its means. My vision is a state with a robust, thriving private sector with individuals creating their own personal wealth and investing in their communities, without the burden of complicated government regulations. Reduced government spending helps lighten the tax burden off the shoulders of the taxpayer and provides more opportunity for individuals to rise and fill those needs from the private sector.
